Seager – Gray Gallery

After more than a year at home, I traveled from Los Angeles to Mill Valley to meet with Donna Seager Liberatore and Suzanne Gray McSweeney in their beautiful gallery.

I drove for seven hours along the California coast listening to music and audio books, watching the changing landscape until it looked I’d arrived in Tuscany! This trip gave me a sense of freedom and excitement as I was on my way to deliver my art work. My book Voyages (en train) and Tempus Fugit as well as a Voyages (en train) diptych had been selected to be part of the gallery’s 15th annual handmade artist books, altered books and book-related materials exhibition.

I met with Suzanne and dropped my art work. Three days later, I met with Donna and the show was up! How wonderful to see so many artist’s books, all different in concept and scale, installed in the spacious gallery.

The show is on view until the end of May and for those who don’t live in the Bay Area (San Francisco) there will be a zoom opening on May 23rd at 2:00 pm. It will be a great opportunity to discover the work of all 24 artists in the show.

I hope to see you there virtually!
